- Place any object on the Sunography fabric, expose to bright sunlight, and rinse with water to reveal a rich blue print.
- Each fabric square can be exposed on both sides to produce finely detailed prints.
- The prints can also be tinted, hand painted or decorated once exposed.
- Use old photo negatives, x-rays, bits of lace, leaves, printed transparencies or even household objects to compose designs.
- Sunlight sensitive material (the cyanotype) was a forerunner of modern photographic processes and dates back to 1842 when it was popularised by Anna Atkin, one of the first female photographers.
